Prof.Dr. Tarık Yazar About

He was born on May 26, 1951 in Artvin. He graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics Engineering in 1974. He was accepted to Ege University, Faculty of Medicine in 1974 and graduated in 1980. He became a specialist in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine between 1980 and 1985. He became an associate professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine in 1988.
In 1988, his research was patented for the mechanical spinal system used in the treatment of spine, trauma, and deformity diseases under the number 28534 at the Vienna International Patent Institute. This mechanical spinal system was produced in our country. He became a professor at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He is married to Dr. Zeliha Yazar and has two daughters.
